Eight Seconds Juneteenth Rodeo
CLIENT: Eight Seconds Rodeo (2023)
MY ROLE: Was brought on by the founder of the Juneteenth Black rodeo one month prior to their first event to work across all aspects as executive producer / show runner. Integrated with internal team and worked directly with venue, production partners and team leads to create a lead up and event day production plan run of show. It was none of our first rodeos, but it was the first time anyone on the internal team had produced one. Extensive production challenges including bringing in literal tons of dirt and fencing into the convention center, concert level sound and lighting, facilitating vendor and sponsors and volunteer management.
